Fastenal Industrial & Construction supplies “paid it forward” with a donation of cast polyethylene food-safe gloves to the Beauregard Parish School Board. The company received a private donation to support local communities. Fastenal branch manager of the Leesville office, Araina Brickhouse (center left) and sales representative for the state of Louisiana, Lisa Ryder (second from left) reached out to local governmental entities. They decided to make the donations to schools and other entities in the area to help with an essential PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to support hygiene and safety in the community. The donation will free up funds for other needs and represents 1.1 million gloves valuing approximately $3,700. Accepting the donation are Bryan Redler, school board member, (left), Superintendent Larry Hollie, (second right) and purchasing agent Kelli Stanard. The gloves will be used in cafeterias and concession stands across the parish.
