Twenty-nine years ago, the Beauregard Area Chamber of Commerce and the Beauregard Parish School Board created the Partners in Education Program so that businesses in our community could “invest in the future by investing in our children.”
Today, the Partners in Education Program includes 78 area businesses partnering with one or more of the schools in our
parish to enhance the educational experiences for our students. Partners help fund co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, provide gifts for teacher appreciation and student recognitions, participate in Safety Fairs, Family Math and Science Nights, and other special programs, donate school supplies, sponsor school yearbooks, sports signs and academic clubs, and in many ways help meet the needs of our schools and invest in our overall success.
We would like to recognize these 2022-2023 partners 71 of which are continuing partners and seven which are new. We appreciate the value they add to the education system of our parish and to the lives of our employees and students.
We celebrate 29 years of an effective Partners in Education Program and look forward to continuing its success in the coming years.
