Doyle

Doyle named Beauregard Parish Middle School Teacher of the Year

Danielle Doyle, middle school English language arts teacher at Merryville High School, has been named a 2025-2026 Beauregard Parish Middle School Teacher of the Year. The Louisiana Department of Education sponsors the Excellent Educators Award Program annually to recognize the state’s most exceptional teachers. Those teachers who demonstrate expertise in their field, who are innovative in creating pathways for student success, who build collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, who deliberately connect the classroom to the community, and who are inspiring and engaging are considered for the program.

Snead

Snead named Beauregard Parish Elementary Teacher of the Year

Rebecca Snead, special education teacher of East Beauregard Elementary, has been named a 2025-2026 the Beauregard Parish Elementary Teacher of the Year. She was also selected as a Louisiana Teacher of the Year Semi-Finalist. The Louisiana Department of Education sponsors the Excellent Educators Award Program annually to recognize the state’s most exceptional teachers. Those teachers who demonstrate expertise in their field, who are innovative in creating pathways for student success, who build collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, who deliberately connect the classroom to the community, and who are inspiring and engaging are considered for the program.

Robberson

Robberson named Beauregard Parish High School Teacher of the Year

Page Robberson, business teacher at Merryville High School, has been named a 2025-2026 Beauregard Parish High School Teacher of the Year. The Louisiana Department of Education sponsors the Excellent Educators Award Program annually to recognize the state’s most exceptional teachers. Smith

Smith named Beauregard Parish Principal of the Year

Sammy Smith, principal of DeRidder High School, has been named a 2025-2026 Beauregard Parish Principal of the Year. The Louisiana Department of Education sponsors the Excellent Educators Award Program annually to recognize the state’s most exceptional administrators. Those principals who are committed to creating an environment for student success, who demonstrate innovative leadership qualities, and who support teachers to help students achieve at their highest levels are considered for the program.
