Beauregard Parish School Board

Beauregard Parish operates 76 bus routes transporting approximately 6,400 students each school day. All buses are board-owned. All drivers attend four hours of in-service training during the school year, studying topics related to student safety and driver effectiveness. New drivers, including substitute/activity drivers, complete 30 hours of classroom study and 10 hours of on-the-bus driving in preparation for transporting students.

Beauregard Parish operates its own bus maintenance facility with one shop foreman, and one mechanic. All buses are inspected at least twice yearly and undergo maintenance to ensure properly functioning equipment. An AFC fuel station is in place on the premises. A large classroom is also available for bus driver in-services.
