EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Beauregard Parish School Board approves resignations, retirements and newly created positions monthly. Resulting vacancies are published in the Board Briefs distributed to each employee, in the Beauregard Daily News, and on the Beauregard Parish School Board website. Any employee interested in an available position may apply for a transfer as per BPSB Policy GBM (professional) and GCM (support).
Please remember, the Director of Personnel and principals must be extremely aggressive when filling available positions and interviews are conducted continually in anticipation of future openings. Principals are fully aware of their school needs and maintain a list of these prospective applicants to consider for future positions. Keeping this in mind, individuals interested in transfers are encouraged to visit with principals prior to availability of any position.
For additional information on any position, you may contact Pat Dawsey, Personnel Secretary, by email at pdawsey@beau.k12.la.us, or by phone at 337-463-6732, ext. 10025.
